FlashManager is software for your USB Flash Drive.

We do a lot of tech support, which often requires us to have our software 'tools' with us. In the old days we had a CD of all our tools. Not anymore; now we carry a tiny USB flash drive with everything on it.

But we needed a way to quickly find the app we wanted to run. Additionally, in certain cases, the app had to be copied to the user's computer before running, and then we had to remember to delete it. Sometimes we wanted to install an app for a user, and we had to look around for an installer.

FlashManager was created to fill this need.

• Scans your USB Flash Drive for runnable programs -- no set-up necessary
• Presents the user with a categorized list, with descriptions
• Supports apps in zip files
• Can automatically copy an app to a temporary folder and run it from there, and delete it on exit
• Can install an app to Program Files automatically and create a shortcut for the user
• Can uninstall apps that it installed
• Optionally ejects USB device on exit so you can pull it right out; no more looking for the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon
• Can automatically run DOS apps in a DOS emulator like DOSBox
• Easily copy the entire app system or part of it to another flash drive
• Easily backup the entire flash drive
